Our client is a leading online retailer of luggage and travel accessories based out of New Jersey. Their online store sells high-quality luggage, handbags, and accessories from leading brands such as Tumi, Rimowa, and Samsonite, among others.
CHALLENGES FACED BY THE CLIENT
- Used Magento as their current shopping cart which has performance issues and the client desired to migrate to Shopify as their eCommerce platform
- Multi-level categorizations of all the products for easy access
- Customized filter options to make items/products on the site for easy access
- The site was very slow and took some time to load
HOW WE HELPED
We at Aroopa helped our client by designing and maintaining the storefront and making online buying more convenient for their customers. We helped them in setting their store with basic configurations, and also by migrating the themes, customers, and products from Magento to Shopify. In addition to the basic migration process, we also helped our client with the following features;
- Replicated their current UI and built a responsive Shopify theme
- Imported all their products, customers, and orders into Shopify store
- Added a separate brands page to list out all the available brands for easy customer access
- Developed a Quick view pop-up for every product with its details and description
- Developed various features like a wish-list, product reviews, mail subscription, and number of customers who viewed the product in addition to the standard Shopify store features
- Added banners on the cart and checkout pages with applicable offers/coupons that are automatically applied to the final amount based on your product
- We also assist them in managing their PPC and Social media campaigns
